Why isn't my reporting showing stats for install tracking?

Unsuccessful install tracking events will not be recorded on your Adfonic dashboard. An unsuccessful response will be "success=0". If you feel that your application or server-side integration is complete, but you are still not seeing install tracking events in your dashboard, please check that your campaign is active. The most common cause is that we have not recorded a click for the device.

What is publisher ID tracking?

Advertisers often wish to track a specific conversion point of their campaigns, such as registration. Where this conversion point is not visible to Adfonic, we can offer a “publisher ID” tracking solution. Adfonic can inform you of which publication (unique id) the click-through originated from. If the advertiser associates the publication ID to their conversion point, they can identify which publications making the most/least conversions. Adfonic can then optimise the campaign based on feedback from the advertiser to maximise the conversions. See Publisher ID Tracking for more details.

What is the device ID for Android ?

We use the Secure.ANDROID_ID which is apart of the Android operating system. It should be 16 bytes in length. A 64-bit number (as a hex string). More information can be found here: http://developer.android.com/reference/android/provider/Settings.Secure.html

What is the device ID for iOS ?

Unique Device Identifier (UDID): preferably in SHA1 hashed format
Identifier for Advertisers (IFA): preferably in SHA1 hashed format
OpenUDID: the identifier as specified by openudid.org
ODIN-1: the identifier as specified by the Open Device Identifier working group
